On-Campus Partner Agencies
The Career Center hosts partner agencies to best serve Butte College students:- Alliance for Workforce Development (AFWD) - Our America’s Job Centers of California (AJCC) provide comprehensive employment and training services to job seekers at no cost. Services include a Resource Center with access to computers, fax machines, copiers, and telephones. In addition, we assist with networking opportunities, job search workshops, on-site and virtual interviews with local employers, job leads, and community resource referrals.
- California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) - The California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) works in partnership with consumers and other stakeholders to provide services and advocacy resulting in employment, independent living, and equality for individuals with disabilities.
- CalWORKs - CalWORKs is a welfare program that gives cash aid and services to eligible California families in need. The program serves all 58 counties in the state and is operated locally by county welfare departments.
